Effects:
Marathon increases the imbibers physical endurance, allowing them to put forth a large degree of physical effort for a long period of time. Marathon is sometimes used in reaper and drover racing (and is illegal for this purpose). It is also sometimes used by messengers who need to run long distances. And it is sometimes used by gladiators or warriors in combat.
The effects of Marathon last for roughly 6 hours or 7 posts, whichever comes first.
Defenses:
In combat, the imbiber will fight as normal, they simply won't get tired. Therefore the best defense is to take them down quickly before you get tired and they gain the upper hand.
Flaws:
Side effects may include nervousness, irritability, sleeplessness, muscle tremor, headache, rapid heartbeat, mild delirium, and diarrhea.
