Symbol of the Magi

The following symbol has been approved by the Forwell Administration to identify those users of magic who have registered. All mages, sorcerers, witches, alchemists, summoners, necromancers, demonologists, and general users of magic who have registered will receive this mark on their papers and on the door of their residence and place of business.

This symbol identifies the dwelling as a place where a user of magic resides, and makes it easy for the Inquisitors to keep track of them (they have to keep them safe from the general public after all). Inquisitors will check in on them from time to time to ensure that their papers are in order.

All District Licensing Offices have now been issued with this stamp.

(Incidentally, a local jewelry store has been commissioned to make a large number of pins displaying this symbol. All though no one is quite sure why...One local smithy was also asked to make a branding iron of it.)
